We work with small businesses every day, and when it comes to the lack of a website, we hear almost all the excuses in the world - and they are all incredibly erroneous. The following are the most common typical objections and our responses.
OBJECTION No. 1: "MY BUSINESS TOO TOO, AND I HAVE NO BUDGET FOR THE WEBSITE".
This is the most common objection we hear from small business owners.
Listen, your site is your number one marketing asset. To say that you do not have a budget for this is the same as saying that you do not have a budget for a license for your business - you will have big problems later if you do not fork out for these initial investments.
Order a website - it does not have to be fancy and expensive, but it must be found by search engines.
OBJECTION No. 2: “BUSINESS ALREADY BRINGS CLIENTS. NO LONGER DOWN. ”
Even if you have a big business, and it makes you forget about everything else, because customers are more than enough, the site is the best gift! Why?
Let's take an example. The restaurant has opened in the most popular tourist spot and it functions in all seasons! The owners of the restaurant are tired, but they cannot even give themselves a day off. They declare that they don’t need a website, because customers come without it.
What will be our objection?
In this case, the site does not need to be created in order to increase the number of customers, but for their convenience, it is simply necessary! According to statistics, more than half of restaurant visitors first look for information about them on the Internet. They want to see not only the opening hours and location, but also special offers, menus, photographs of the interiors, information about the chef, etc. A good website will immediately answer all major customer questions and free up your time on a telephone conversation with a puzzled customer.
You can add a booking widget, which again can save your hosts time and make operations more efficient.
You can create an online community with recipes, blogs and places where you can purchase your products. You can become not only a local favorite, but also gain popularity across the country and turn your own product into a recognizable brand. There are so many opportunities besides increasing the stream of customers that a website provides for business! And time does not stand still, you never know what the next decade will bring, be prepared for the digital world.
OBJECTION No. 3: "I HAVE A GUY WHO SAID, THAT CAN MAKE ME A SITE FOR FREE."
This is a bad idea if this guy does not specialize in web design for your industry. To entrust the development to a friend or family member who does not have enough competences is the same as to entrust the laborer with laying the foundation of a skyscraper.
OBJECTION No. 4: "OUR CLIENTS ARE NOT USING COMPUTERS."
Your customers are not "computer users"? This is nonsense. This business owner forgets that “computer users” are not just people using desktop computers. It also includes people browsing websites, social networks and apps on mobile devices.
Smartphone = computer user.
OBJECTION # 5: I DO NOT NEED A WEB SITE, BECAUSE MY INDUSTRY DOES NOT NEED IT / WE ARE NOT ELECTRONIC COMMERCIAL OR ONLINE BUSINESS.
This is a HUGE delusion of many people. The fact that you do not do e-commerce does not mean that you do not need a website. Consumers — even B2B buyers — still have to find you, learn about you, and trust you because they buy from you. The vast majority of our customers are not engaged in e-commerce, and each of them has a significant increase in revenue due to the presence of a website.
Realizing that they still need the site, our clients ask another question: “How much does the creation and development of the site cost?”.
Read about it in our article.
